Our story

A family bakery, since 2019.

Maple Crumb opened on Government Street in 2019, started by Dana Thibodeaux and her brother Luc. We wanted a neighborhood spot where the bread is still warm when you walk in and everybody gets a hello.

We bake with Louisiana ingredients wherever we can: cane syrup, local pecans, and Ponchatoula strawberries in season. If you're new to Mid City, come say hi. The coffee's on and there's usually something just out of the oven.
